Stentor has gained experience in catering to customer’s specific needs, through years of supplying certified components made from carbon, stainless, high-strength or wear resistant steels. Founded in the early 1990s, Stentor has grown into a trusted name in high-quality steel constructions, particularly within maritime propulsion and heavy-duty industries. With roots going back to 1992, when we began as "Stentor Naval" in the maritime industrial hub of Navol in Oltenița, Romania, we initially focused on building small luxury yachts. Many of these found their way to delighted owners across Europe.
By 1996, responding to demand from the Navol shipyard, we produced our first propulsion nozzles. Their success quickly broadened our focus, and nozzles became part our core business. In 2004, we fully transitioned from yacht building to specializing in propulsion components. Since then, Stentor has grown into a multi-sector manufacturing partner, delivering complex welded and machined steel structures for maritime propulsion systems, heavy industrial equipment, and other demanding applications.
